Oliwa Forest: a mycology walk with Polish Sign Language, 19 September 2026

The Baltic Sea Cultural Centre is organising a walk on 19 September 2026, meeting at Gołębiewo forester's lodge. Mycology communicator Franciszek Hrynkiewicz will lead it. The official announcement makes the format clear: participants observe fungi without collecting them. Polish Sign Language interpretation is provided.

Bring a question about substrate or surrounding trees, and try to document one find in its habitat. That aim suits an observation walk. You do not need a basketful of mushrooms or a long list of identified species to benefit from following a guide through the landscape.

Tickets and actual terrain

The organiser-linked ticket listing shows a standard ticket at 30 PLN and an accessible concession at 15 PLN for eligible people with disability certification. Those prices were checked on 8 September; consult the booking system for purchase and current availability.

Sign language interpretation addresses a language barrier for some participants, but the walk still crosses uneven forest ground. The organiser warns that parts may be difficult for people with reduced mobility. Suitable footwear, weather-appropriate clothing and drinking water are recommended.
