Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

The controller of personal data is the operator of MykoRadar. For anything about personal data, write to admin@mykoradar.pl.

2. What we collect

Browsing this site requires no personal data. There is no registration, no login and no form to submit on this host, so we receive no name, no email address and no content from you.

Two things are processed:

• Analytics — aggregate visit counts, collected without cookies. See section 4.
• Server logs — our hosting provider records requests, including IP address, for security and to keep the service running. This is ordinary technical processing and is not used to build a profile of you.
• Advertising data — collected by Google when adverts are served: IP address, browser and device information, the page being viewed, and identifiers stored in cookies. Google collects this directly in your browser; we never receive it in a form that identifies anyone and store none of it. How much is collected depends on your answer in the consent dialog — see the Cookie Policy.

The Polish edition at mykoradar.pl does have accounts and a reporting form, and its own policy covers those.

3. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)

• Serving the site and keeping it secure — legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Statistical analytics — legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)): we want to know which entries are read and where the site is slow. The tool stores no cookie and no persistent identifier, so it needs no consent to access your device. You may object to this processing.
• Serving adverts (Google AdSense) — your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), taken in the dialog before anything is written to your device. You may withdraw it at any time, and withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it. Refusing does not remove the adverts; it makes them non-personalised, chosen from the page rather than from you.

Nothing here is conditional on consenting to adverts. Declining closes no page and limits no entry.

4. Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It writes no cookie and nothing else to your browser, and gives you no identifier that outlives the day. What we see is aggregate: which page, from which country, on which kind of device. It is entirely separate from the advertising described in section 5: we do not profile you ourselves, we run no remarketing of our own, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone. 5. Advertising

The site carries adverts from Google AdSense, which together with voluntary reader support pay for running it. For this processing Google Ireland Limited acts in its own right — as a controller or joint controller depending on the purpose — rather than as a processor acting on our instructions. What that means in practice is that its scope is governed by Google’s policies and not ours: see the Google Privacy Policy and its advertising services terms. Google’s advertising partners also deliver adverts; the consent dialog lists them and their purposes, under the IAB TCF standard.

Personalised advertising involves profiling by Google, on its own data, to choose an advert. It has no effect on what you see in the site itself and no legal effect on you. Refusing in the dialog switches it off, and you can change your answer at any time: Change your advertising consent

6. Processors and recipients

We rely on Vercel (application hosting, and the Web Analytics counts described above) and Supabase (the database this site reads its content from). They process data on our behalf under data processing agreements and with appropriate safeguards for any transfer outside the European Economic Area.

7. Retention

We hold no account data, because there are no accounts. Analytics counts are kept in aggregate by Vercel and in no database of ours. They stay available to us for our plan’s reporting window of 12 months, and Vercel states it may retain them for longer, which is why this is a criterion rather than a fixed deletion date. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for as long as they are needed for security and diagnostics. Advertising data is held by Google under its own policies; the lifetimes of the cookies themselves — up to 13 months — are listed in the Cookie Policy, and none of it is stored in any database of ours.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — including objection to the analytics described in section 4, and withdrawal of the advertising consent in section 5. To exercise any of them, write to admin@mykoradar.pl. You may also complain to a supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO); elsewhere in the EEA or the UK, your own national authority.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and it carries the date it was last changed.
